Silence Is No Longer An Option!!!
Dawah Network Global (Dawah & Islah)
Dawah is obligatory on all of us.
In Islam, the purpose of Da‘wah is to invite people, both Muslims and non-Muslims, to understand the worship of Allah as expressed in the Qur'ān and the sunnah of the prophet SWAS, as well as to inform them about Muhammad SWAS. Da‘wah helps in creating better understanding and also to show Non-Muslim what is Islam and what we mean by Tawheed. Dawah or Call towards Allah SWT, is the means by which Prophet Muhammad SWAS spread the message of Quran to mankind. After the Prophet, his followers or Ummah assume the responsibility of the Dawah to the people of their times. They convey the message of the Quran by providing information on why and how the Quran preaches monotheism.
We are Lucky that Brother Hasan Shakir has agreed to take over as the Moderator. Brother Hassan Shakir, a retiree of the US Air Force, and recently retired as CEO and President of Taqwa Productions in Atlanta, Ga.For over thirty years Taqwa Productions has been broadcasting to soon-to-be-Muslims, the word of Al-Islam. They produced 2 weekly call-in television programs, allow viewers the opportunity to ask questions and to make comments on Al-Islam. He traveled all over the United States filming Islamic Leaders, Groups and Organizations. The last ten years he has been pioneering in live video streaming of Jumuahs, events, and producing of a 24/7 Internet Television/Radio station
When we have got the internet facilities and tools, it is our duty to provide free tools to Dae'e so that they carry out Dawah in an effective form approachable and accessible to every one.
We form the Central chapter which coordinates with each country and town and manages free flow of information.
Dawah is obligatory act ordained by Allah SWAT as mentioned at many places in Quran.
Surah "Asr" emphasises on Dawah.
"Kuntum khairan ummatin ukhrajat linaasi tawmaruna bil maruf wa tan hu-anna anhil munkar."
"Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining al-ma`roof [i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do] and forbidding al-Munkar [polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden]. And it is they who are successful." [al-Qur'aan, Aal `Imraan (3):104]
The Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) has said: "Convey from me, even one verse." [al-Bukhaaree] Conveying the message therefore does not require a high level of scholarship, it is in fact a responsibility of each and every Muslim, according to his or her ability. [Qur'an 3:110]
"Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidences and the guidance, which We have sent down, after We have made it clear for the people in the book, they are the ones cursed by Allah and cursed by the cursers." [al-Qur'aan, al-Baqara(2):159]
In the same connection, the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) has stated, "Whoever hides knowledge, Allah will brand him with the branding iron from the hellfire." [Ahmad]
"And who is better in speech than he who invites to Allah and does righteous deeds, and says: 'I am one of the Muslims.'" [al-Qur'aan, Fussilat(41):33]
With regards to the reward, the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) has said: "Whoever guides [another] to a good deed will get a reward similar to the one who performs it." [Saheeh Muslim] Also, "By Allah, if Allah were to guide one man through you it would be better for you than the best type of camels." [al-Bukhaaree, Muslim]
Ayah 12:108 "Say, This is my Way, I do invite.."Ayah 16:125 "Invite to the Way of your Lord.."Ayah 22:67 ".. but invite to your Lord, "Ayah 28:87 ".. and invite to your Lord, .."
Dawah must be properly planned as emphasised by most of the scholars. All activities, need to be planned out just as you would plan any type of affair or program which you would invite others to attend.
1. We try to plan things ahead by few months minimum and make sure that all involved will have the chance to attend every meeting or at least have a copy of the minutes of the meetings to help them in preparing for the next meetings.
2. Never to accept last minute programs or events that might compromise the existing ones that are already scheduled and in the works.
3. We try to bring in the right person for the right job. This is one of the most crucial aspects of the whole project.
4. All of the essentials are worked out before discussing any item of lesser importance. Meetings and gatherings are conducted according to the Quran and the Sunnah to maximize the Blessings and to insure the success here and in the Hereafter.
5. Materials and any equipment that might be needed are listed, located and secured at the earliest possible opportunity.
We have to understand that the first line of dawah begins with ourselves, then our closest relatives and then our wider circle of relatives, then our friends, the Muslim body at large, our neighbors and then the general public. This understanding is derived from the 80th surah in the Quran, Abassa [the Frowning]. We must not turn our backs on those who are already Muslim in favor of those who are not yet being guided by Allah.
So, for this purpose we always try to design our workshops into Segments:
The following are the keys to be planned before we start our Dawah project
Plan Ahead, No Last Minute, Select Right Person, define Limits, Arrangements, Timing and Resources
Assignments of tasks
Team work, Goal Setting and Focus On Goals
For Non-Muslims, For New Muslims and For Existing Muslims

WARNING:Stick to the Main Subject, Focus on Allah & Islam, Avoid Negative Discussions and "Tawheen"In case of the topic on Muslim contribution to science you can request them to visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muslim_inventions and read. Most of our contribution are in the Golden years during 800 to 1300 AD. Unfortunately we do not have much in the present time which all must be concious of. With .02% world population, the jews won around 181 noble prices whereas Muslims around 8. It is worth viisiting the comparison page at http://network.muslimworldnet.org/index.php?page=files§ion=view&file_id=100078 We all must be aware of our handicaps.

SALAH - COMMON MISTAKES AND SALAH ETIQUETTES:
Common Errors in Prayer – That MUST Be Avoided:
Reciting Surat al-Fatiha fast without pausing after each verse. The Prophet (SAW) used to pause after each verse of this surah. (Abu Dawood)
Sticking the arms to the sides of the body, in rukoo' or sujood, and sticking the belly to the thighs in sujood.
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Let not one of you support himself on his forearms (in sujood) like the dog. Let him rest on his palms and keep his elbows away from his body." (Sahih Muslim)
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) used to keep his arms away from his body during rukoo' and sujood that the whiteness of his armpits could be seen (Sahih Muslim).
Gazing upward during prayer: This may cause loss of concentration. We are commanded to lower our gaze, and look at the point at which the head rests during sujood. The Prophet (SAW) warned: "Let those who raise their gaze up during prayer stop doing so, or else their sights would not return to them. [ I.e. lose their eyesight]." (Muslim)
Resting only the tip of the head on the floor during sujood.
The Prophet (SAW) said:" I am commanded to prostrate on seven bones the forehead and the nose, the two hands [palms], the two knees, and the two feet." (Sahih Muslim)
Applying the above command necessitates resting the forehead and the nose on the ground during sujood.Hasty performance of prayer which does not allow repose and calmness in rukoo' or sujood:
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) saw a man who did not complete his rukoo' [bowing], and made a very short sujood [prostration]; he (SAW) said: "If this man dies while praying in this manner, he would die upholding a religion other than the religion of Muhammad."Abu Hurairah (RA) said:" My beloved friend, Muhammad (SAW) forbade me to perform postures of prayer copying the picking of a rooster; (signifying fast performance of prayer), moving eyes around like a fox and the sitting like monkeys (i.e. to sit on thighs)." (Imam Ahmad & at-Tayalisi)
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:" The worst thief is the one who steals from his own prayer." People asked, 'Messenger of Allah! How could one steal from his own prayer?'
He (SAW) said: "By not completing its rukoo' and sujood."(At-Tabarani & al-Hakim).To complete rukoo' is to stay in that posture long enough to recite 'subhana rabbiyal Adheem' three times, SLOWLY, and'subhana rabbiyal-a'ala' three times, SLOWLY, in sujood. He (SAW) also announced:" He who does not complete his rukoo' and sujood, his prayer is void." (Abu Dawood & others)
Counting tasbeeh with the left hand
The Prophet (SAW) used to count tasbeeh on the fingers of his right hand after salah.
lbn Qudamah (RA) said:" The Messenger of Allah (SAW) used his right hand for tasbeeh." (Abu Dawud). The above hadeeth indicates clearly that the Prophet (SAW) used only one hand for counting tasbeeh.
No Muslim with sound mind would imagine that the Prophet (SAW) used his left hand for counting tasbeeh.
Aa'ishah (RA) said that the Prophet (SAW) used his left hand only for Istinjaa', or cleaning himself after responding to the call of nature. He never used it for tasbeeh.
Yasirah (RA) reported: The Prophet (SAW) commanded women to count tasbeeh on their fingers.
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:" They (the fingers) will be made to speak, and will be questioned (on the Day of Resurrection.)" (At-Tirmithi) The above hadith indicates that it is preferable to count tasbeeh on the fingers of the right hand than to do so on masbahah (rosary). Crossing in front of a praying person:
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) warned:" Were the one who crosses in front of a praying person to know the consequences of doing so, he would have waited for *forty better than to cross in front of him." (Sahih Bukhari and Muslim). The forty in the tradition may be day's months or even years. Allah knows best.
